Mechanical Gauntlets.
Their Arkhium powered abilities exist no longer, making yet another of the many useless contraptions brought to this world. But metal and gears have never stopped being useful for any civilisation in any universe whatsoever. The owner may figure it out.
Cashflow Supervision Device.
This catalyst has been modified from its original function to serve various purposes around the Fortress of Meropide, including deploying Wriothesley's fighting gauntlets. The battery was meant to last longer than a decade, but without a proper energy source from the world it has stopped working. Perhaps its utility has not completely disappeared if an alternate supply is found...
Abilities retained.
Physical Abilities.
His pressure fighting and boxing techniques have not been forgotten. Even without his vision, Wriothesley was a renowned brawler inside and outside the arena ring. But his strength do not surpass the capabilities of a common human in the world.
Tea expertise.
His acute sense of smell made him excel as a tea sommelier. Surprisingly enough, the Duke's nose has not downgraded with the fall, and this includes his sense of taste too.
Engineering knowledge.
The Fortress of Meropide is also the largest factory of mecha components. His knowledge may not match that of an expert from the Fontaine Research Institute, but with all his years within the citadel he's learned enough to know how to tweak a thing or two.
Same old Duke.
A simple man who enjoys accomplishing simple tasks, but still with the even more simple ambition of helping others. In this regard, Wriothesley remains the same man, which explains why he's adjusted well despite the circumstances.
