Headcanons

Start!

He is a second-generation Unovan. Still, he learned spanish at an early age, coming in contact with his grandmother’s Paldean side of the family. It has become a bit of a habit to quietly muse in Spanish whenever making a tough decision.

To this day, Nate’s relationship with his parents is practically non-existent. He knows his father owns a restaurant in Nimbasa City, and his mother resides somewhere in Johto. His mother tried to contact him once when he was fourteen, after his most recent debut. Nate was unable to answer due to a tight schedule. The event hasn’t repeated itself ever since.

His pokémon partners react to subtle body and noise commands from their trainer, a code language developed between them throughout the years.

Has acted in a total of 6 series and 18 movies, only 3 of them starring the leading role. He’s participated in several other TV shows, and contests as a special guest. His current artistic goal is to become the leading role in the very same musical her grandmother did.

Can’t cook unless closely following a recipe. Keyword: closely.

He has no real sense of how spicy the food he likes can be for others. It might not be a good idea to ask him for any food recommendations.

Loves dancing and has quite a tuneful voice for singing.

Holds every Pokémon League member and Champions in quite a high regard, especially Unova Gym Leaders, to the point of viewing each of them as personal inspiration. He will always procure to express this whenever in their presence, showing his respect and appreciation.

To his dismay, he used to have a huge crush on a well-known rising pop star, collecting their albums and attending every one of their shows. To this day and age, he completely denies this ever happening. But he still holds all the copies of said pop star albums close.

Given his guarded personality, he has an easier time befriending a pokémon before their trainer. This doesn’t mean he dislikes people, he simply believes a pokémon will always be the reflection of their trainer. It helps him feel comfortable around new people.

Usually introduces himself as a Pokémon-fan before an actor. It's easier to pass unnoticed that way.

    More TBA.
